Yeah, in the recent versions of TLS it does encrypt it fully. However, DNS might leak it since encrypted DNS resolution isn't that much of a standard yet. And browsers will still save the token in browser history.

If it's overkill to encrypt it properly, maybe, but it's an additional protection against 3rd party attacks, since no one can just take the token (from a browser) and send it without the shared secret.

for your issue, cloudflare is saying you do have another dns entry for the root domain and then prevent you to add a duplicate
I guess for this one Cloudflare support is more in position to help you ... but we can still try if you post a screenshot of your dns entries on cloudflare 🙂

@kevin-bullard that code is from sentry to capture errors, and it's in conflict with our own sentry script, that's why it can be saved, but rest of your code is ok only that script is causing the issue

@bianca-duboisset-0 It's not possible to refund domain purchase, but you can transfer your domain to any other registrar.

To do that, go to your domain settings in appdrag, there you can get the EPP code, you can then use that code on any other registrar to transfer the domain to them.

Saying we should do validation in custom JS is short-sighted at best.

You expect, without docs, the developer to figure out:

How to trigger the error message in multiple languages. How to display the error and where and how to do that (JS or jQuery) Expect the developer to know jQuery well enough.

At least give us the Front-end Javascript docs so we an do things properly.

You can remove those A records, they are used only for redirecting root domain to www
But since cloudflare support cname for root domain ... No need of A records at all with cloudflare 🙂
