We are very different because the frontend part of your website is static files served super quickly by AWS CloudFront CDN and the backend part is Serverless hosted in AWS Lambda, so instead of being hosted in just 1 server in 1 datacenter, your websites are served by a pool of millions of servers!

Because of those reasons it's not possible to import from wordpress or Wix ... but it's totally possible to export to standard HTML/CSS/JS 🙂

As long as your website runs on JS, CSS, HTML you can simply upload a ZIP file of your website into the Code Editor section (top of your dashboard) and once in you can right click on "/" in the file explorer and choose “Upload ZIP”, this will upload and extract your ZIP file.

Most probable cause, you have deleted the index.html page
Quick solution:
go back to your project settings, there click on EDIT > Code Editor
in the Code Editor right click on "/preview/" folder in the left column then click on Restore
there restore the deleted index.html page

When AppDrag is not available in your country, you need to send a copy of your ID card to support@appdrag.com so we can manually verify your account. It has to be sent with the same email you're trying to create your account/login with.

All sites with us are hosted on AWS + served by AWS Cloudfront CDN, so all your sites hosted on appdrag will be really fast

For some exotic domain extensions (.com.au) we don't have very good buying prices ... but you are not forced to move your domain, you can keep it with your existing registrar then simply connect it to your website, we have a guide for that here:

Sure, as it is a product listing element, you can double click on it => "Customize" => you will see a placeholder image => double click on the image => set the background mode of it from cover to contain and you will be able to see it entirely!

I don't think it can randomly switch to draft. If you can show us with a project that you save a published blog post and it switches to draft later we would fix it very fast. It's either a misinterpretation from you, or the UI at the beginning was showing published and it was in draft mode (so it would never have been published but would be our fault by prompting a wrong information).

Yes it's possible, you will have to create a cloud function in Cloud Backend and call your external API
You can then call your cloud function to fetch the content and display it in the frontend. For that part you will need to write some JS to generate the elements and add them on the page.

In cloud backend > API > Create a new function > Node.js
there you will see several cloud function templates, one of them is about calling an external API

We don't a tutorial for this exact use case but you will learn a lot by checking our video tutorials here:

Another option is to use Dynamic Datasource instead but that option might be more limited for your use case.

@Dick-Honing I've been where you are, started with setting up and managing CMS systems and connect widgets and plugins using admin interfaces. But as soon as you need to do anything custom, which is basically a requirement by clients, then it starts to pile up. It took me several years to be proficient in JS/Node and you don't have time for that, the market is changing too quickly. If I where you, I'd hire a full-time Javascript/Node developer and make step-by-step usage descriptions that he can use to build what you need for your clients. If you can't afford one, you can hire freelancers on a project or hourly basis.
