In VisualSQL, Formulas can be user in WHERE conditions ... not to format the selected data and the output ... you can do that only in Raw SQL

unfortunately it's not possible and would not be practical and efficient for us to do backups at table level instead of DB level.

What we usually do to restore just one table from a backup:

restore the backup (either locally on your computer or in a new project on AppDrag) export in CSV the table you are interested in Clear the table you want to restore (to make it empty before the restore, use the Clear command we have on the table in cloudbackend) import the CSV of your table

If Python, you can try simply:

Little temporary hotfix :

JSON.stringify(actionUp).replace(/,/g, '|') to store it JSON.parse(prq_visitor.actions_list.replace(/|/g, ',')) to use it

That's annoying but I have a clean usable CSV, and it's easy to ctrl+H in the JSON column to replace the | by ,

Still waiting for an update for a better way to do it ^^

Another great thing you can do to improve query speed is to add indexes on your tables on the fields you are using in WHERE or JOIN conditions. You can get a 100x improvement with indexes 🙂

Thank you for reporting it, the issue has been fixed and will be live today with many small improvements on AppDrag platform

Though, conceptually it's quite easy.

Add custom link to menu in admin When link is clicked, it opens an iframe URL in a modular window. The URL contains an encrypted payload in the URL parameter. The receiving back-end then decrypt the payload using a secret key. The payload contains basic JSON that contains a session key. The session key can be verified by POSTin to an Appdrag Endpoint to verify it's still valid (encrypted payload here too).

Since we're encrypting the payload using a secret, no man-in-the-middle can temper with the content and since we're posting only a current session key, the session lifetime can be limited and verified even on the back-end side.

Not what I had in mind for the asset manager though.

Update: You're right, for it to be usable it would need to be it's own library and you'd need to make "custom apps" as mentioned above, available, which I expect you don't have plans for.

Yeah, in the recent versions of TLS it does encrypt it fully. However, DNS might leak it since encrypted DNS resolution isn't that much of a standard yet. And browsers will still save the token in browser history.

If it's overkill to encrypt it properly, maybe, but it's an additional protection against 3rd party attacks, since no one can just take the token (from a browser) and send it without the shared secret.

I'd like to share another method which is less error prone :

I was about to use the Starter Tier for our use-cases, since I think that's the minimum required and also use 1 minute cache.

I'll probably make a calculator for back-end, so I don't lock myself into unnecessary billings, maybe it could be useful for the community too.

The only solution I then have is an open link, but it's kind of sensitive so it's not the best to "open" it.

Oops, I misunderstood!

In fact we have a much larger allowance on AWS SES (few hundreds per sec) and it's shared by all appdrag customers.
I'll check but I don't think we have any hard limit per user on our side.

Well it's not THAT sensitive indeed, it was more like macros for table names and preprod names and stuff like that to avoid to repeat it and be able to change it easily.
I know the Database and stuff like that are protected but I'm thinking that it's still the bed idea to spread all the accurate name of everything that easily ^^"

Problem with the Env Variables is that they are contained only in the func where I write them, so it's not helping that much for this specific usage.
I don't really like the idea of having an API call "just for that", especially when I'll use it a lot for my tracking system, the goal is more to reduce them 😉

So it's not an ABSOLUTE NEED but it might be very handy to add some genericity in my code.

For now I'll not do it, I'll let you know if I come up with a cool system to do it painlessly 🙂
