Here's the list of basic features missing:

Amount labels (Pair, Pcs, Package, Liters etc) Custom out-of-stock message (per product) Custom shipping time (per product) Custom short description for products (Item View) Categories and sub-categories need to be sortable (drag-drop order) Re-order product images Custom fields for products and order details

Advanced:

Pre-order purchase (Before official stock) Hide products until launch date (+ notification e-mail on launch)

The rest we can do with back-end or modifications, these, we can't (need to be in order details / or API).

@ThomasD Indeed, we don't use regular form tag, all forms are transmitted with AJAX. Just this alone is blocking 99% of the bots!
We do have some additional security measures to prevent spam, I can't explain them in details for obvious reasons 😛

And yes it's totally doable to create a cloud function to handle recaptcha if you really want it.

I'll add the recaptcha widget to our requested features list.

Would be awesome if we could have this as a Cloud back-end input widget that we can connect to a sample API Function that just return JSON and then displays it in a list. When the list is clicked, we can choose what action to do.

No we don't support it natively yet, but with Stripe Checkout and a Stripe Webhook in a Cloud Backend Function it is feasible. We've done it through many projects.

Yes, you could add "response = JSON.parse(response)", for example. But, if you add "json" : "true" to the parameters, jQuery's ajax function will automatically parse it for you 🙂

I'd also prefer to add default error handling logic, for example... so, adding a

.catch(function (error) { myErrorReportingFunction(error); }

That, for example, would be very, very helpful.

In that case DO NOT USE the option 404 if no result because this is linked to 404 page (as it name says :p)
and then handle in JS the situation with few 2 lines of JS, like if the fields are empty ... redirect to page X ...

about the types:

JSON: your response will be wrapped in a JSON object containing details about execution, logs and your data in a payload field

RAW: this return directly your response without any wrapping

Gateway: this one expect you to return a response where you can define headers, content type, content ... please check our Nodejs samples for more details on how to use this one (QR Code generator)

Gateway & Base64: Same as Gateway but expect the data to be encoded in Base64, this is useful to return binary content, we also have few samples in Nodejs showing how to use it (Read URL and return binary)

@Daniel-Mulroy In fact not, each time you add/remove a dependency it will redownload/reinstall all the NPM deps ...
It's only if you do NO changes at all (no add, no remove of package, so in fact nothing ...) that the deps are not rebuilt 😉

About updating package across all functions, this is clearly an Anti-Pattern in Serverless!
each micro service must be completely independant and not affected by changes of other functions

For tooltips we don't provide something out of the box but you still have the title attr (but I admit it's a "poor quality" solution)

For modal we provide a great solution!
It isn't in the text edition but on the component edition => link section.

Scroll it down and you will see "Open in"

You can use it for all kind of links. A page you created on your website (so you can do whatever you want in your modal) , a link to a YouTube video or a link to a google drive document.

@Wassim oops no missed this feature thanks a mil Wassim 🙂 just a little suggestion. I think it's awesome that we can optimize for different viewports with appdrag, and even better if we could optimize for large screens, i.e. beyond desktop. When you view a site o larger screens than desktop, font size very often is too little and the layout becomes very wide and narrow. Of course it's a small percentage that views a site on a larger screen but very often it's the boss that has ordered the site 😉 so would be super helpful if that could be added too at some point...can't remember the exact dimensions, I think industry standard is 3 sizes above desktop - screenfly.org has some television sizes but I don't know if they are helpful any help to you guys?

@Wassim it's awesome that we can add custom-javascript to the page-builder, but I was more so wondering if we could have it as a plugin which saves some time, kind of like how webflow does it 😉

I have a 2FA system set up for my backend.

The way I've done it is: IF you have a table for Users already, when they attempt to first log in, generate a random 2FA code and UPDATE their User record by adding that newly generated token to a column dedicated to it.

Bonus points if you add a timestamp.

Then, email/SMS them the 2FA code.

When they submit it again as part of the second authentication step, you do a SQL SELECT

like

SELECT * FROM Users where email = (their email address they submitted) AND 2FAtoken = (2FAtoken they're submitting)

If you implemented the timestamping, you can also modify your SQL query to include only results within the last 5 minutes or whatever you choose.

If that SELECT statement returns empty, the code is incorrect or expired. If it returns an object, you're good, and you can authenticate the user, set their token, whatever.
