Hey Patrick
Another thing you can try:

1. convert your logo to a .ico file with this: https://convertio.co/fr/png-ico/
2. rename the file to favicon.ico
3. upload this favicon.ico to the root folder of your site in Code Editor

this way you will have your favicon in both png and ico formats and will have a wider compatibility
