Is there a way to add image alt text to feature image in post?
Hello,
I can't see the option to add alt text to feature images in blog post. There is no problem with other images further in the post, but for feature image it seems to be impossible. I can only add feature image, and there is no other options to it.The absence of alt text in feature image is reported in all seo tools, when I'm doing on-page audit.
Obviously for every feature image I'd like to add different text as alt text.
Can you implement this, please?
Thank you -
RE: Customise Element Pop Up Menu too long for laptop screen
@Naomi-Crain You can try zoom out the web browser screen by pressing CTRL + "-". This way you will see the bottom of the popup and you can use "..." three dots to make it smaller. Then zoom in the browser window again by CTRL + "+". It works on chrome and edge, I'm not sure about other browsers.

@ThomasD Thank you. I'll have a look into this. I never had this problem before, it seems cloudflare might be necessary now.

Increased number of bots eating my bandwith
Hello,
I noticed a lot of bot visits since Thursday last week. There are clearly bots, no value from this traffic. Is there any way to block them? I guess they're using my bandwidth from the monthly quota or maybe it's filtered out and doesn't count? They're using avg. 450MB per day and they all coming from UK, Newcastle area.
Can you help?

RE: Page Builder for Blog Article Content
+1 from me too. Currently, is difficult to achieve nice looking posts across all devices. If I use 2 column template it may look good on desktop and then terrible on tablet. It takes a lot of time and styling to keep consistent design across devices unless I use simple one column text->image->text->image structure. Please team have a look into this.
Also adding alternate text to feature image is not possible at this moment, would be good to have this implemented too. -
RE: Impossible to restaure
@Franck-Olivier-CHABBAT Hi, I recently had the same issue with page builder.
What I've done is, I went to code editor, found index.html (or other page you want to restore) right click on it and you will see option to restore. Just choose older version and you're fine.
Hope that helps. -

RE: Google does not index my website.
@Ponarul-A-P Hi, it looks like your robots.txt blocks all pages
Are you sure you have unchecked this option? (prevent search engines from indexing this website)
Hope that helps.

Open graph meta tags not saved after clicking save button [SOLVED]
Dear Team,
I have a problem with saving meta tags on webpages. I followed your recommendation on how to do this on blog listing pages (with variables) and it was saved properly and it is still there.
However, when I try to add open graph title and description on any webpage in my project there are not there after saving/publishing. Every time I do this and hit save then reload page or change for another in the project, those fields are not saved and empty again. Og image is saved properly and do not disappear. I tried this on many webpages and "save" is not working. Can you help?

RE: Breadcrumbs
Hi, I'm using breadcrumbs in my code, but only for google purposes as I think it is one of SEO factors. I'm not displaying breadcrumbs on my website.
I used a breadcrumb generator from this website https://technicalseo.com/tools/schema-markup-generator/ and put them manually into every webpage I created. Once created you can check schema on this website https://search.google.com/test/rich-results
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to replicate this with blog articles. I was trying to use tag manager but only succeeded with schema article, local business, logo but not breadcrumbs. Would love to know if someone has an idea how to implement them into articles. -
RE: Share your website to have feedbacks
@Linda-MacDonald I was thinking about my top header menu background (as on picture).
Currently, it's green (ish) and Wassim suggested that maybe a black background would be better. He inserted a screenshot in his response to show how black colour is better blending with my logo background. I also have this logo without a background, but as it's gold it didn't stand-out as I wish.
Thank you, for another resource to learn new things, I never thought about negative space. Definitely need to read more about this as well as to experiment with colour palettes.
If you don't mind I'll ask you again about your thoughts, once I learn new things and change my website, but this will probably happen after Christmas time.
All the best -
RE: Share your website to have feedbacks
@Linda-MacDonald Thank you for taking the time and for your advice. I saw your original response and was wondering, what and how I could (should) change it. I never heard before about the color.adobe.com, but it's really cool and helpful. I see now I have buttons in bright red, black, and even blue and I'm thinking this is probably too much...
What about a top menu? Wassim suggested to make it in black to match the logo background colour and I'm still debating in my head what to do. I kind of like the green/greenish colours and that was in my head when I made a decision about colours on my website. Do you think I could keep some of the green? Or perhaps it's not the best colour for the business like mine?Thank you

Strange redirects deeper than page structure...
Dear Appdrag team,
When I moved my website from Wordpress, I had a few problems with redirecting pages with trailing slash "/" to pages without a slash and without .HTML extension. You've offered me a solution and you redirected (on your side) all pages with trailing slash to the same pages without it. It was great solution as google had pages indexed with the slash and I wasn't missing a click from the SERPs. Everything happened 10 months ago and since then all pages were reindexed and are displaying in serps without a trailing slash and without .html extensions.
Recently, when I checked google search console I noticed google crawls some of my pages using the path I never used before: www.mydomain/blog/page. They're obviously excluded and shows as a page with redirects.
These pages are not articles in the blog, they are my normal pages from top menu which are indexed properly anyway, but somehow robots trying to get addresses like domain/blog/webpageaddress.
When I tried AHREFS audit, it crawls the same as google. And of course, ahrefs score is lower, because it says it is a redirect chain... . It is not a redirect loop, just redirect from domain/blog/page -->HTTP://domain/page -->https://domain/page
I'm not worrying about the score, but there are many unnecessary crawl requests. Crawlers trying to get pages deeper than they actually are...
I think this is maybe because that redirection solution you offered me months ago?
Could you please remove this redirection on your side, please? All my pages are indexed in serps properly and I don't need redirection from "trailing slash" pages anymore...
Ahrefs says the redirect was first spotted on my first article domain/1.-article.html , but I couldn't find anything wrong with the links? Can you help to resolve this. Or at least remove those global redirections and I will wait and see if this is still the case.
I Attach 2 pictures: from GSC and AHREFSmy website is www.londonviptransfers.co.uk

RE: Share your website to have feedbacks
@Wassim Thank you very much for the feedback. Your suggestions are spot on, I'll definitely look into font families and other things. The actual business is a bit slow at the moment (not many flights, people work from home) so I have plenty of time to work on the website and creating content.
Once again, thank you. This is a great community -
RE: Share your website to have feedbacks
Hello everybody,
I think it's a good idea and I'd like to be first. My project is [www.londonviptransfers.co.uk] and this is a website of my business - London chauffeur services.
I moved my website from WP and I'm really happy with the outcome. Note: I'm an amateur/hobbyist and always enjoying learning new things like web design, SEO and PPC.
Everything I've done by myself, but I know there is always a lot of work to be done.
So, once I'm here may I ask fellow appdragger's to have a look and give some feedback, please? Anything from bad colours, fonts to major issues if you can spot one.Thank you very much

RE: Stripe Button not appear
I had same issue in the past, but now I know how it works.
Step 1. When I select button, the STRIPE not appears in the menu
Step 2. Then I need to select the button and go back to element
Step 3. STRIPE now is visible and ready to edit
I know your problem is solved now, but maybe someone finds this useful.
Thanks

RE: Subscription
Hi Allan. You can do it in the code editor. Just right click on a folder and export to zip.
