Would be awesome with PWA option for the pagebuilder
-
@Wassim so awesome that PWA is being added to the list A lot of confusion out there about what it actually entails though: To be a true PWA it of course has to be downloadable to homescreens. One thing about that though is that you only get one shot - if the user hits "ignore" then they won't be prompted again, so it would be awesome if the prompt could be a button which the user can click when or if they want to download it. Secondly and surprisingly ignored by many devs who claim that their app is pwa is offline capabilities. That's where the serviceworker comes into play. Usually when you read or learn about PWA they speak of 3 pillars and offline capabilities is one of the pillars:
- can be downloaded to homescreens
- reliable regardless of network connectivity
- fast as lightning, which I suspect we all dream of

just thought I would mention this I will be soooooo looking forward to the feature, it will blow client's minds
-
@Wassim yes it's a good idea
-
do you guys have an ETA on this - so exciting
-
Hi, I think in one month it should be live
-
@Wassim fantastic
-
@Wassim any news on the pwa?
-
Hi,
Yes we started the integration but it's a bigger task than what we have in mind to make it good. It's still up in our roadmap but can't give exact dates for it to be live. -
@Wassim ok no worries am absolutely DYING to see this feature so please excuse my impatience, it's all so exciting if you guys are in need of inspiration bootstrap studio has an integration after I nagged the living daylights out of them too lol
-
No problem I initially told you one month and it's been a long time since
It would be interesting to see what has been done on bootstrap studio, could you share screenshots from their interface to see the different settings they provide? -
@Wassim sure I can
so they have this PWA button that you push and then you activate the PWA which allows you to plot in which page you want your app to start on and upload a splashscreen and define it's colours and after that it spits out a manifest.json filesee screenshots

Excellent thank you very much!
-
@Wassim oops I didn't have one section on my screenshot as the last option they also have
display:
fullscreen
standalone
minimal ui
browserand
orientation:
none
portrait
landscapejust noticed too that under their favicon section they have splash screen (image) uploads for android, ios etc with correct image dimensions stated, which perhaps is also useful
-
Hi,
It's now live on AppDrag thank you for the request -
@Wassim I know YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
@Wassim A zapier integration with onesignal would be a sweet addition to the pwa I know that Apple/safari/ iphone have some restrictions and they are not likely to play nicely for a while, but still android is a pretty large audience too
-
Hey Linda,
It's a bit off topic but AppDrag is one Zapier so you can already do it :

If there are some actions/triggers you'd like us to add feel free to create a specific feature request
