Easiest way to offer downloadable audio files from website

Can anyone suggest the easiest way to offer downloadable audio files from my website? The built in media link elements all go to sites that won't allow downloads, like iTunes or Youtube. Any options?

Hi Naomi,
My first suggestion would be to host them on SoundCloud and enable download on the files.
This way you'll have a good looking player and metrics of your plays / downloads.
