I was told that Appdrag has amazing optimization features. But did an experiment where I just installed a template without modifying it at all, and the Page Insights score ended up only 47 https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uKL0gy that is terrible out of the box performance.

What can I do to get the score 90+?

        Hey Alexander
you have probably selected a template with a SLIDER, Google pagespeed Hate sliders because they take more time to load all images and JS to make it work. Google recommend to never use sliders (they never use sliders themselves)

I recommend you just remove the slider from your side, and reduce the number of Maps/Iframes/images on your page
with this simple advice you should reach 95% in google pagespeed 🙂

          Hi,
I can confirm for our sites w/o sliders, we have > 95% PageSpeed. If you use Lighthouse it may give you further pointers about what is dropping your score.

So I removed the slider and result did improve but not 95% like Joseph said:
              https://share.getcloudapp.com/GGu2zDRG

This is an appdrag template that is not modified in any way - no scripts, or iframes. This should be the best representation of the platform speed.

              Any other suggestions?

                Good question(s).

First, I'm not sure why this option doesn't appear on your screen, but when I switch to 'desktop' I get 94:

@Joseph-Benguira or @Wassim any idea why there is such a large difference between mobile (60) and desktop (94)?

Because Google has different requirements for Desktop and Mobile, and the display is different on both platforms.
Seems this template can be optimized on mobile devices yes.

@Daniel-Mulroy yeah sorry my bad I just looked at the first screen I saw without paying attention to desktop vs mobile. I get 88 not 94 but that number varies depending where you connect from.

@Wassim Also does that mean that the platform on mobile doesn't use AMP?

And what other things are possible to do to optimize the speed. It isn't like working with a server where you have control over every part of it. So what do you guys use to do further optimization.
