Configure Google Analytics versus Insert html in head tag (in Page Configuration > Advanced)

Hi there,
I just couldn't get 'Configure Google Analytics' working by entering my G-etc. number.
Enter the Global Site Tag (tag.js) via 'Insert html in head tag' via Page Configuration > Advanced worked well.
What am I doing wrong?
