[Feature Request] Warn before deleting columns with data in CloudDB
-
Hello team,
In CloudDB's table view, selecting the 'Delete' option for column via the drop-down menu immediately deletes the column and all data from the database.
Because the 'views' are so easily editable, it might be confused with simply removing the field from the view.
To avoid accidental loss of data (especially because I am wanting to share a CloudDB 'dashboard' for access by non-technical users), can you please implement at least a confirm() with a warning that you will lose ALL DATA in that column for ALL RECORDS in that table?
Something scary enough so that people who aren't 100% certain of what they are doing will not continue

Hello Daniel,
We might do it, but it also adds friction for fast table edition. We will discuss it internally, maybe we will add a "don't show again" inside the warning.
I keep you in touch!

Case: blank table (no data) -> Don't show warning
Case: Table has Data -> Show warning, option to not show warning
Case: Table has Data, user has chosen not to receive warning -> Don't show warning.
That works for me!
