I find this useful to implement too. I was also wondering about this. It is not clear how to return to the category was being viewed or to the main store. Can this be integrated?

There's a little cross in the top right corner + a click anywhere on the left side closes this panel.
On my end I think it's too much, let's see other feedbacks before adding it to the list.@Christopher-Rodriguez, you're talking about another feature that would require another thread. But I'd suggest you to implement it manually.
