      There's a bug in the slider, every time that the slider loops it will re-fetch the image.

      This is causing idle browsers to eat up all of the bandwidth in a few days.

      The only solution I've found so far is to disable the auto-play.

        Hi,

        I'm not sure that's your issue. When you re-use an image on a website it's cached by your browser. Maybe you're checking it with the Chrome Inspector opened and "Disabled cache" checked? (you can see it on my screenshot below next to "Preserve log".

        When I check on my side it's properly loaded from disk cache :

          @Wassim
          I'm unable to re-produce it now, but it was certainly eating up the bandwidth over and over.
          Not sure if it was due to my idle browsers tabs or an actual issue 😕

            The bandwidth went from 2.5GB to 0.7GB per day, so something was definitely wrong.

              The idle browser tab wasn't the source of the problem?

                @Wassim The amount of data is way too high for a rouge browser tab, but it doesn't matter, the problem doesn't occur any more.
