Video Background function not working

I've been trying to use a YouTube video background or any type of video background through an embed or an external link but the video background function is not working properly. I select YouTube or try a search and it says "Remote service is down please try again later". This has been happening for days since I've tried to do it.

I only see Pixabay and YouTube options for video background. Is there a way to use any other video hosting platform?

I see your message has been sent only 3 hours ago but I can't reproduce it..

You can use some vimeo videos but depends on the rights on it (that's what pixabay provide)

You can set the path directly from the "Brush > Advanced >Custom Attributes" on your element :

@Wassim, yes I am still experiencing this issue. After reading what you wrote it triggered the idea to try it out directly through appdrag instead of my whitelabel (leadgenweb.win). I logged in and it worked. I can use the YT and Pixabay videos search engine. End result: it works through prod.appdrag.com but not through leadgenweb.win/dashboard

I tried implementing a direct path on both portals (appdrag and leadgenweb) but I couldn't make it work. These are the links I tried manually inserting into the video-background-path:

Something I noticed is that the Giphy function is not working on both portals.

@Wassim, I checked and these are my findings:

• YouTube background is working on my whitelabel (leadgenweb.win)

• The menu is showing fully when using a video background in the hero section

• Giphy is NOT working on my whitelabel. It says "remote service down please try again"

Thanks for your feedback, indeed there was a new issue with Giphy, it will be fixed in the next update (probably tonight)

Hi AppDrag Community,

I have the same problem with Pixabay Video, if I use a YouTube video as my section background it's fine but with Pixabay it's working only on the builder and not on the preview. I've checked my configuration but everything seem fine.

Anyone has already solve this kind of issue ?

Thank you for noticing us. There was an update in the path they provide that messed up with the library we're using.
We fixed the issue
