SOLVED GDPR violation when using Google Fonts
-
Hello all,
There is a data protection warning wave going on in Germany right now because of the integration of Google Fonts. I, as an Appdrag user, have also received mail from a lawyer and now have to pay a fine. Apparently, when using Google fonts, the IP address is sent to Google, which is a data protection violation.
As a possible solution: is it possible to change the Google Fonts to local fonts?
Thanks in advance for your help.

@philipp-ay I'm sorry to hear that, it seems german private lawyers are weaponizing this againts citizens and companies ... what a shame!
Yes, from the pagebuilder, if you click on the assets box in the left side > Fonts tab
there you can uninstall any google fonts and instead upload your own fonts in TTF format
after that change the problematic fonts on your site and finally republish the whole siteFrom the code editor you can also edit this global file referencing all fonts
/fonts/fonts.css -
Thank you!
