Can you use a custom domain without using AppDrag for email

I want to have a domain that i control use the AppDrag platform. However i would like to continue to use the mail servers and systems i have for that domain. If i change the Domain at my registrar to reflect the A RECORD given to me by APP DRAG to show the website will that affect my email systems?

Hi Keith,

Email is routed using "MX" type DNS records - so, modifying the A record will not affect mail flow.

If you change nameservers, however, to use AppDrag's nameservers (for example), you would need to re-configure the MX DNS records (because changing nameservers doesn't "port" over existing DNS records.
