URLs without the www are not working

@kirk-brown hey Kirk
You can do that if you follow our tutorial here:
https://support.appdrag.com/doc/Use-CloudFlare-and-Activate-SSL -
Hello.
I am trying to follow those instructions. I am currently stuck in the process of activating my SSL on AppDrag. It says it will take an hour but that was yesterday and it's still not activated.
-
Still waiting on the SSL to generate a certificate. Can you look into why it is getting held up?
-
@kirk-brown Hey Kirk
-
it seems you have not attached your domain to any project
from Appdrag dashboard click on Domains in the top bar, there click on the cogs icon near your domain and move your domain to a project -
if the SSL config is not finishing on our side this means you have not correctly created the required entries for domain verification
-
since you are using Cloudflare, you don't need any A entries in your DNS, I can see you still have them on this domain
So remove A entries in your DNS, then make sure dynamiccelebrationlighting.com and www.dynamiccelebrationlighting.com are both pointing to custom-domain.appdrag.com with reverse proxy (orange cloud), and ensure Cloudflare SSL is configured for Flexible (like in our guide)

I have followed all of the tutorials to the tee.
It's still not working. I have contacted cloudflare support. Their response is below and saying the issue is not with cloudflare. Can I do a paid one on one screencast with your support team if needed so we can finally get this resolved and promptly?\Cloudflare Support Response:

@kirk-brown could you post your dns configuration from cloudflare? Please also take a screenshot of the cloudflare rules tab
Alternatively you can contact us by email at support@appdrag.com to arrange a paid screensharing session

@kirk-brown thanks
Could you try to change the first dns entry (cname for the root domain) to point to www.dynamiccelebrationlighting.com instead of the cloudfront address?Please try that and let me know

@jbenguira
I have tried that before. It comes up with the following error. I have cleared my cookies and it still does it.
-
@kirk-brown OK ... it seems because of one of cloudflare settings (maye because orange cloud reverse proxy was not activated) the traffic was sent in http instead of https from cloudflare side to cloudfront.
I have disabled auto redirection from http to https on your cloudfront instance to mitigate the issue with cloudflare not sending the traffic in https to cloudfront so it should now work as expected even if cloudflare reverse proxy is misconfigured
please try again: https://dynamiccelebrationlighting.com/

@joseph-benguira
Okay. It seems to work now. You said cloud-based is misconfigured? Is there any more action required on my part to fix issues?
