      Hello everyone,

      We have a sub-domain problem.

      We have a website www.karacal.fr hosted on Appdrag (the domain name was purchased on Appdrag).

      We want to create a pro.karacal.fr site. So our CTO created this sub-domain on the AWS servers we use. I linked this sub-domain to an Appdrag project.

      SSL was not activate so we paid $60 to do it. And it still doesn't work...

      Where did we go wrong?

        Hey Hanna,

        We have investigated your issue, and it's now fixed please go again into "Main Domain & SSL" in your project settings and you should see DNS instructions to validate your domain for SSL

          Thank you for your answer, I've been coming back to this subject over the last few days and we still have problems.
          The procedure works well, up to the CNAME that we have to put in the DNS.

          We can't manage to put it in the www.karacal.fr domain (hosted on Appdrag). So we tried to put it in the DNS of the sub-domain dev.karacal.fr (AWS).

          Nothing happens, the SSL activation stops and we are back to square one.

          Is it possible to discuss it with someone directly?

            I have checked https://www.karacal.fr/ and SSL is working on that one
            Could you describe more precisely what is wrong?

              I know www.karacal.fr is working, it's pro.karacal.fr that doesn't work (not dev.karacal.fr either, I made an error in my last message).
              If you can look in the unpublished projects you will see that the pro.karacal.fr project does not have SSL.

              We can't manage to put the CNAME Clé _538fa42ef684fd1ebe34564d9077449e in the Appdrag DNS, for the main domain name which is hosted on Appdrag.

              We have already paid $60 to activate SSL + monthly subscription for a site that we cannot publish.

              So I would like to know :

              • If the CNAME should be put on the main domain name or on the sub-domain.
              • If it is on the main domain name, if you have a way to put the CNAME Key in the DNS yourself

                I have checked pro.karacal.fr here:
                https://dnschecker.org/#CNAME/pro.karacal.fr
                right now there is no DNS settings at all for that domain ...

                It seems you forgot to add the CNAME entry for pro.karacak.fr, I just did it for you in the DNS Editor or your domain.
                I have also activated SSL for you on that domain

                DNS Update + cert generation should be completed in the next hours 😉

                    Hello,

                    I have a problem again: I wanted to move my domain name www.karacal.fr to a new project.
                    And again the DNS seems not to be configured properly and the SSL cannot be activated.

                    As a result, nothing works anymore and none of my sites are online.

                    Help?

                        Hey Charlotte,
                        when you have several websites with ssl on the same domain you have to do the DNS configuration to activate the certificate...
