<p dir="auto">I'm having a few URL issues:</p>
<ol>
<li>
<p dir="auto">I cannot reach my blog via the URL bar - ie by typing in <a href="http://investandprotect.com.au/blog" rel="nofollow ugc">investandprotect.com.au/blog</a><br />
This works for all other pages ie /about or /services but not the blog... and when I use the top nav and click on the Blog button, the URL actually IS <a href="http://investandprotect.com.au/blog" rel="nofollow ugc">investandprotect.com.au/blog</a></p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">I turned off .html extensions, but when I link to pages within the site, it links to the .html extension. When I try to edit the code to change to the non-html extension, the links don't work and I reach my 404 page.</p>
</li>
</ol>
<p dir="auto">Look forward to some help!</p>
<p dir="auto">Thank you<br />
Alisha</p>

<ol>
<li>
<p dir="auto">I just tried this url: <a href="http://www.investandprotect.com.au/blog" rel="nofollow ugc">http://www.investandprotect.com.au/blog</a><br />
And I do see your list of blog articles (just 1 for now)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">Please provide a link example so we can test</p>
</li>
</ol>
<p dir="auto">Anyways what's really important for SEO is the canonical url, so if you check the source code of pages, even if you access it with the .html url, the canonical url will indicate the url without .html (because of the option you have checked)<br />
And google will index only the canonical url ... and not the one with .html</p>
