Since 2016, AppDrag has been helping customers create websites, backends, newsletters, and manage domains.

It has been a great success with over 25,000 websites built on our platform. It’s been an incredible journey, and we are deeply grateful to have shared it with you.

However, technology evolves quickly, and we believe that the sun is setting on CMS technologies such as AppDrag.

It is therefore with some sadness that we have decided to cease accepting new customers and projects with immediate effect, and to permanently shut down AppDrag on November 1st, 2026.

Starting today, annual renewal options are withdrawn. Customers who have renewed annually to date will be able to switch to monthly renewals until September 30, 2026.

We understand this change requires you to migrate any websites, domains, or newsletters you wish to retain.

To make this process as smooth as possible, we’ve prepared step-by-step migration guides and our support team will remain available until the shutdown date.

Migration Resources:
• How to transfer your domain

We sincerely thank you for your trust and loyalty over the years.
AppDrag was possible because of you.

With gratitude,

AppDrag migrates its one to one support to a general community. We aim to provide high-quality answers available to everyone. After some time we would have a strong questions/answers database bringing a lot of value to our users to build their web applications with confidence. We also want to create a dynamic community to improve the platform and our reactivity to build and fix things based on what you as website builders really need.

Here are the 3 main rules to respect when asking a support question on the board:

Don’t post until you’ve searched the Community for the answer first

When posting, provide as much information as possible so that your problem can be fully and clearly understood. You can include an appID, link, screenshot, detailed description, etc.

Be respectful of all AppDragers! Keep it really civil so that we can make the AppDrag community of builders as embracing, positive and inspiring as possible.

Don’t forget that if you want somebody else to consult on or develop your AppDrag solution for you, we can provide you with paid support or connect you with one of our certified partners.

We have updated our appdrag-cloudbackend NPM package to allow parametrized SQL queries.

If you want to compose the SQL query by yourself with input parameters you must escape the user inputs to avoid SQL injection with cloudbackend.escape() like this:

cloudbackend.sqlSelect("SELECT * FROM Products WHERE category = '" + cloudbackend.escape( event.POST.category ) + "'")
.then( function(response) {
	console.log(response);
});

But there is now a better way with parametrized queries, You can use ? characters as placeholders for values you would like to have escaped. Multiple placeholders are mapped to values in the same order as passed.

cloudbackend.sqlSelect('SELECT * FROM Products WHERE category = ? and id > ?', ["Software", 500])
.then( function(response) {
	console.log(response);
});

You can check the full documentation on NPM:

Yes I do! Treat the current links like a folder (link-type option) and when folder is clicked, it will scroll the "viewport" to the left and show the content of the folder.

You can then show breadcrumbs at top to go up a folder-level or go to top folder (with search inside that folder).

So the folder itself can or cannot have placement in menu (option). This way we can place folders where they belong in the page tree (to be easily found and not take up unnecessary space).

our VSCODE extension is finished! Please check here:
https://github.com/AppDrag/appdrag-vscode-extension
FYI it's not yet available on VSCODE marketplace (we need to submit it and wait for validation from MS) but you can still install it manually

about your question for a workflow with VSCODE/WEBPACK:
when you already have created/configured your webpack script you then usually to include it in your package.json > scripts > build
then run it with "npm run build"
you can add another script in package.json called "deploy" that will call appdrag-cli like this "appdrag push fs", this will push all the files from your local FS to appdrag

so you can run:
npm run build
npm run deploy
